On Friday 25th January, Stephen Morgan, Portsmouth South’s MP, came to visit our school.
Our House Captains gave him a very informative and engaging tour of the school. He was very impressed with all the hard work going on in the classrooms. He also enjoyed visiting the library and was impressed by the IT suite and the school’s cognitive thinking.
After the tour, Stephen Morgan spoke to the school in an assembly about what he does in parliament and how he represents us there. The children were then given the opportunity to ask questions. Many children asked about “Brexit” and had questions for the present Prime Minister, Teresa May. The visit inspired lots of children to voice that they would like to be Prime Minister in the future.
