Tree Planting Update

On Saturday 4th February, we had a fantastic morning at Moorings Way Infant School planting trees! We planted fruit trees and hedges at the school on the day helped by volunteers from Charles Dickens Community Orchards.

Sponsors include Trees for Cities, The Tree Council and Portsmouth City Council. Trees were registered on The Queen's Green Canopy website to commemorate Queen Elizabeth's reign.

We were joined by the Deputy Lord Major, Councillor Tom Coles who planted one of our trees.

We were thrilled to see so many of you attending including families from all three schools. Thank you so much for giving your time to support the school and also the many donated cakes . We will all be excited to see the hedges and trees grow over time!
