Children's Mental Health Week
This week the children will be taking part in ‘We Can Week’. This is a celebratory week that aims to increase children’s understanding of their physical and mental well-being. This week is also Children's Mental Health week.
The week has been divided into five key themed days:
- Mindful Monday - the children will complete a mindfulness activity in their classes
- Tasty Tuesday - the children will enjoy some breakfast food with their class
- Wellbeing Wednesday - the children will talk part in a well being walk
- Together Thursday - This is our 'Be You' event. Staff and pupils are encouraged to wear their favourite colours as part of a non-uniform day and partake in arranged activities which celebrates our differences which make us unique and beautiful.
- Physical activity Friday - This is an INSET day and school will be closed to pupils. During this day we are encouraging you and your children to take part in a physical activity.
